Challenge
In the production of bearing rings there was a high variety of parts. In addition, the changeover time was to be kept as short as possible and the possibility of incorrect changeover eliminated.
Solution
A modular system for demolding from a 4x, 6x and 8x cavity was used. The quick-change device was color-coded to enable visual inspection of the changeover process. Thus it took only a few minutes to change over the tool.
