Challenge
When loading and unloading a forging press, red-hot steel parts (1,100°C) up to 50 kg in weight needed to be gripped.
Solution
This solution is based on a modified GH7665T series long stroke gripper. The gripping force retention is ensured using an integrated spring. Integrated air cooling of the gripper fingers protects the gripping system in case of an emergency stop.
