Retirement farewell in a cozy atmosphere
Seven long-standing employees honored in a ceremony
Zimmer Group bid farewell to its retirees at a ceremony on Wednesday, November 26. In the presence of the management team and numerous executives and colleagues, seven employees were honored for their decades of loyalty, expertise, and exceptional commitment.
The following were honored:
Dejane Springmann, injection molding production assistant, Zimmer GmbH Kunststofftechnik, retiring on January 1, 2025 (length of service: 10 years)
Klaus Huber, Brother & BAZ General, Clamping and Braking Technology Division, Zimmer GmbH, retiring on September 1, 2025 (length of service: 15 years)
Hartmut Jochheim, mechanical assembly, Zimmer GmbH Damping Systems, retiring on August 1, 2025 (length of service: 21 years)
Uli Scheer, industrial training instructor, Zimmer GmbH, retiring on July 1, 2025 (length of service: 34 years)
Günther Kempf, vocational training instructor, Zimmer GmbH, retiring on October 1, 2025 (length of service: 15 years)
Joachim Bürk, BRO Brother, production, Zimmer GmbH, retiring on June 1, 2025 (length of service: 27 years)
Katharina Hoffmann, HHT Assembly, Zimmer GmbH, retiring on November 1, 2025 (length of service: 36 years)

In his speech, Martin Zimmer not only praised the professional achievements of those leaving the company, but also emphasized the valuable human contribution they have made to Zimmer Group over the years. He expressed his personal wishes for a fulfilling retirement and at the same time reminded them of the bonds that continue beyond active service, for example through events such as the Christmas party or the retirees' get-together.
The event was attended by representatives of the management, department heads, and the works council. Among others, Günther Zimmer, Martin Zimmer, Jonas Zimmer, Michael Basler, Christoph Boog, Peter Müller, Klaus Seifried, Maria Maurath, Julia Feßler, Marius Basler, Nicolas Knörle, Reiner Hauß, Stephan Harter, Mario Wölfle, Dieter Langenecker, Holger Zimmer, and Dominik Fischer.
Personal conversations brought a warm and appreciative celebration to a close, marking the start of a new chapter in the lives of these long-standing employees.
