Challenge
For loading a thermoforming machine, different rim types needed to be gripped. The gripper needed to cover a wide range of parts without having to be retooled.
Solution
Because of the wide variety of parts, it was necessary to design a special gripper. A standard cylinder served as a lift. A rugged basic structure made of rails and a guide carriage made it possible to withstand the harsh ambient conditions in the vicinity of the press. The gripper is rugged and easy to maintain.
