Gripper for racks

For loading a processing machine, different versions of racks needed to be handled. A conventional gripper could have very easily left behind marks on the sensitive surface. Another challenge was that the racks were placed end to end.

As a solution, the Zimmer Group experts developed a vacuum gripper for a wide variety of shaft types. Multiple angular grippers are used as a transport lock to prevent the workpiece from getting out of control and being lost.
